Emily Klion
Founder and Executive Director
Emily specializes in collaborating with artists from all disciplines, creating and producing new works of theater for youth with an emphasis on social justice. Emily has been teaching music and theatre to youth for nearly 40 years, and enjoys creating music for SFYT’s original productions.
Dyana Díaz
SFYT Program Manager and Teaching Artist
Dyana Díaz is a Puerto Rican actress and teaching artist; she earned her B.A. in Performing Arts for the Theatrical Expression at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, in 2012. There, she was co-founder of Colectivo Transeúnte a theatre group dedicated to the creation of performances for young audiences.

Leslie is grateful to have spent her career making theatre with young people of all ages and knows how impactful the performing arts can be—not just onstage but in all aspects of a child’s life.
Sánchez Sánchez
Teaching Artist and Outreach/Production Coordinator
Sánchez Sánchez (They/Them) is a first generation Mexican American actor, director, and dramaturg from the Southside of Chicago. They are a history buff who attended NYU for Drama and Latino Studies--aspira unir el mundo del teatro con el público Latino. They focus on work by, for, and about Latinos in hopes of having their image reflected back at them. Sánchez invites audiences into the world of the productions they work on by helping them take a deeper look at the traditional family values upheld in Latin households, y ayudándolos entender que la única manera de avanzar hacia su futuro es sanar del pasado.
Zoë Klein
Organizations Systems Consultant
Zoë Klein is a multi-disciplinary choreographer, acrobatic dancer, production manager, arts administrator and consultant in the Bay Area, born in Colombia and raised in NYC. Zoë has been Producing Director/Facility Manager at CounterPulse, Communications Manager at Adoption Museum Project, Development Associate at Luna Dance Institute, Managing Director of FLACC, and Managing Director/Executive Team with Epiphany Dance Theater. She co-founded Paradizo Dance 2005 having performed and taught for Salsa Congresses worldwide in 26 countries over 6 continents and was top 20 finalist on "America's Got Talent 2019." Zoë Klein Productions was nominated for best ensemble Izzie Dance Award 2018. She continues to make work around themes of adoption, indigeneity and citizenship.
Natasha Casino
Social Media Manager and Teaching Artist
Natasha Casino is an actress, teaching artist, and content creator based in San Francisco, CA. She received her B.A. from San Francisco State University in 2020, majoring in Broadcasting Electronic Communication Arts. Natasha is a Bay Area native and is so humbled to work in the arts in the same neighborhood and communities she grew up in.
