Leslie Price, Managing Director and Teaching Artist is a theatre educator, director, and writer. From 2005-2016 she served as the Children's Director for The Theatre of Western Springs in the Chicago area, creating curriculum and producing a variety of plays and musicals including the premiere adaptation of Al Capone Does My Shirts by San Francisco's Gennifer Choldenko. In addition to her work at SFYT, Leslie is a writer for Clef Notes Journal, an arts magazine in Chicago. Leslie has worked at SFYT since 2017.

At SFYT, I'm constantly inspired by my students' bravery--whether that's trying acting for the first time or learning how to be true to themselves and their values.”
