Your Best Audition

These master classes are an add-on to Acting is Believing Level 2. Students must enroll in both classes.

Your Best Audition will covers the essential aspects of a strong audition, and is geared towards preparing 8th graders who want to apply to the theatre department at Ruth Asawa SF School of the Arts, or for those who want to gain general audition skills for plays or performing arts programs.

Choosing and Preparing Audition Materials: You’ll select and memorize a memorize a monologue that showcases your talents and speaks to your identity.

The Audition Process: Students will hone their audition materials through opportunities to perform, improvise, and interview in front of others.

Students will perform at our Winter Showcase on Friday, December 6!

Grades: 8+

Dates: October 21- February 3; Every two weeks:
10/21, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2, 12/16, 1/6, 1/20, 2/3
Schedule subject to change in accordance to SFUSD audition schedule.

Times: Mondays 6:15-7:17 pm.

Winter Showcase Performance: Wednesday Friday, December 6, 6 pm

Cost: $280/eight week session
