SFYT has secured a lovely site to hold outdoor classes in the Mission. It has a garden, covered patio, and lots of space for social distance learning. In the absence of a formal theater venue, the students are presented with an opportunity to wonder and collaborate in a unique outdoor space to create site-specific visual and performance art.

Each student will have a chance to develop their skills as a visual artist, grow as an actor and stretch their imagination. Puppetry is one of the oldest and most popular art forms and a great way for young people to experiment with voices, emotions, self-expression, theater magic and humor.
In this advanced acting technique class you will learn action and reaction, the pinch and the ouch, and other techniques to connect an actor with the present moment on camera and onstage. This is an acting technique which can thrive in the webcam online environment and while learning and practicing remotely we will be focused on being present and “working off” each other. This is a great technique to add to your actor's toolbox for scenes, stage plays and film work.
